Bialowieza is in fact a great meadow in the hart of primeval forest. The area is inhabited by car. 2000 people who live mainly in adorable small cottages. Accommodation is here easy to find and costs about 35 PLN. In the 16th century Bialowieza became a royal hunting reserve.

The Bieszczady Mountains are the easternmost part of the Polish Beskidy Mountains. Natural richness of the Bieszczady mountains, location on the Polish, Slovakian and Ukrainian borderline, and historic events which have influenced their present appearance in a fundamental way, make it one of the most interesting region in the Polish Carpathian Mountains. On this route you can see the Bieszczady Mountains from a natural, historical, ethnographic, architectural and tourist point of view.

Krynica-Zdroj is one of the oldest health resorts that has been operating constantly since the beginning of the 19th century. It has among others a well organized hospitality and catering industry as well as a system of cable cars.

The Magura National Park is situated in the specific and distinct transitional zone between the Western and Eastern Carpathians. The great majority of the Park’s area covers forests. Although the Magura National Park is situated in mountains, the landscape of the park consists of two plant layers: foothills and forest zone.

Wolinski National Park was established in 1960 and preserves the north-western part of the biggest Polish island – the Wolin Island. The most characteristic features of the Parl’s landscape are the most beautiful cliffs in Poland, beech wood communities, the unique delta of Swina River and Baltic Sea coastal waters.

Babia Góra National Park covers 3392 ha of Beskid Żywiecki. The highest peak in the massif of Babia Góra is Diablak - 1725 m a. s. l. The top parts of Babia Góra Mountain, which represent the only alpine belt to be found in the Beskids as well as the various vegetation layers are strictly preserved.

Ojcowski National Park is situated in the southern part of Jura Krakowsko-Czestochowska. Its area occupies the central part of Pradnik and Saspowska Valleys and a number of side ravines. The scenery of the Ojcowski National Park has always been a subject to reminiscences and source for poetic and artistic inspirations.

Poleski National Park protects peat-bog and swamp areas as well as a unique in continental Europe territory of tundra. It was founded in rarely visited western part of the Leczynsko-Wlodawska Plain.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine, located in Wieliczka near Krakow is one of the world's oldest operating salt mines. Since the 13^th century, together with the Bochnia Salt Mine it was a part of Żupa Krakowska. The process of salt-making began in Wieliczka about 3500 years BC and belongs to the oldest in Europe. Within seven centuries over 7, 5 million m³ of salt has been mined in this area.
